Dr. Ross Chatwin

HI, I’m Dr. Ross Chatwin. I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and St. George, Utah. I became fluent in Spanish while serving an LDS mission in Monterrey, Mexico for two years. I received my Bachelors of Science in Public Health from Brigham Young University and my Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry. I am currently a member of the American Optometric Association, Sugar House Chamber of Commerce, American Diabetic Association, and serve as President of the Utah Optometric Association.

I take pride in practicing primary care optometry as well as practicing pediatric optometry, seeing children as young as one year old. I practice ocular disease, helping patients suffering from conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetes, and high blood pressure. I also enjoy fitting specialty contact lenses for patients with corneal and anterior segment conditions and orthokeratology. I have received certified training in Laser Therapy of the Anterior Chamber and Surgical Procedures for Optometric Physicians from Northeastern State University College of Optometry.

Dr. Ana Schroeder

Dr. Ana Schroeder is an Ohio native and graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree cum laude. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, magna cum laude from Otterbein University.

Dr. Schroeder is a member of the American Optometric Association, Utah Optometric Association, and Ohio Optometric Association. She completed clinical training at leading institutions including the Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Medical Center, the Moran Eye Center, Columbus Ophthalmology Associates, and several OSU-affiliated clinics.

Dr. Schroeder provides comprehensive eye care with special interests in ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, pediatric eye care, binocular vision, and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery patients. She has extensive experience fitting scleral and gas-permeable lenses for keratoconus and other complex corneal conditions, as well as orthokeratology and myopia management lenses. While challenging cases intrigue her, some of her favorite memories come from the simple joy of fitting patients with their first pair of glasses, allowing them to see clearly—sometimes for the first time ever.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Schroeder co-authored a published case report on solar retinopathy associated with social media trends. Outside the exam room, she is a social butterfly who enjoys hiking, playing sand volleyball, and game nights with friends.
